I'm baaaack! RUN! HIDE! No wait...read my blog!

I know, I know, it has been ages since I have blogged so why I am doing it now? Well then, sit back, get comfy and I will tell you why.

Have you ever heard of Cripple Creek Barbeque? No? Allow me to tell you all about them and their awesomeness.

Cripple Creek Barbeque is a growing BBQ company with not only an amazing flavor and texture, but also contains no high fructose corn syrup. CCB's goal is to be able to help chefs and families alike, create tasty dishes without all the added sugar, artificial flavorings and other nastiness that is just not needed :)

CCB recently started a fund over at Kickstarter.com to raise some much needed mula to grow their business and has allowed 4 very talented artists to design brand new, kick ass labels for their sauces! (yours truly was chosen as one of those artists. *fist bump*)

These limited edition bottles are ONLY available through this special Kickstarter pledge. The awesome thing about Kickstarter is that you get to help out an amazing company AND get great goodies for doing it! Can you say REWARDS baby?! You can donate as little as $5, but of course, the more you donate, the better the goodies you can get! (Um, CHRISTMAS pressies anyone?) Also, you don't pay a single cent until December, and that is ONLY if the goal is reached! It is a win-win any way you look at it!

Here are the pledge/rewards levels :)

$5 or more: get a personal thank you and a mention on the official CCB website, and the CCB Facebook page

$20 or more: all of the awesomeness above PLUS a personal recipe created by the man himself, Chef John Lynch, developed to your personal tastes! YUM!

$50 or more: the delicious gift set that includes 2 sauces, a yummy spice rub, a basting brush AND menu ideas! (this makes the PERFECT gift and I should know...I purchased some of this yumminess last year for all of the men in the family! They went NUTS!)

$85 or more: *THIS IS THE SPECIAL ONE FOLKS!!!* 4, count them, *4* bottles of the delish CCB BBQ sauce in the brand new, revamped super labels!!!! Each flavor has a brand spankin' new label created by some of the greatest artists on the web! You get the Original CCB BBQ sauce with a super snazzy label created by none other than artist Tricia Rennea Wilson of Trillustrations.com, the spicey Chipotle sauce featuring an uber urban street smart design by designer Dean T. Hamilton of Ricaso.com, the yummy Caramelized Onion sauce all dressed up in the stylish and savvy design created by the brilliant Debbie Pruess of TheSpottedOlive.com and of course, every vampire's worst nightmare....Cripple Creek Barbeque's very own "Garlic" BBQ sauce, all dressed up and ready for your dinner table in the brand new design whipped up by ME in all of its gothy glory :) (Don't go inviting a Cullen over for dinner. Just sayin'.) Did I mention there are only 12 sets of these available and only 10 left as of right now? They are going quick. Better get yours today.

$100 or more: the thank you, the mention, the personal recipe, the gift set, AND a super cute CCB tee shirt for you to sport around town! Awesome I tell ya...awesome.

$150 or more: All of the great goodies from the $100 pledge PLUS an entire meal menu written by Chef John himself, including wine and beer parings! (You can't mess up a party or gathering with something like that!)

$200 or more: All four sauces, a rub, AND a tee to make your friends jealous!

$500 or more: Chef John will PERSONALLY come to your house (limited to the Mountain Time Zone. Sorry Jersey Shore peeps.) and cater a party to you and 15 of your closest friends, family, neighbors or just people you choose off the street!

Sound great? Make you hungry? GOOD! Go out and pledge for Cripple Creek Barbeque over on Kickstarter.com...here....take this link instead: http://http//www.kickstarter.com/projects/CrippleCreekBBQ/cripple-creek-barbeque-a-small-company-with-a-big

Oh, and while you are waiting with fingers crossed to see if CCB meets their goal in December, why don't you head on over to the official website and order some sauce to keep your taste buds from jonesing until then ;)

Still a few left...

Just a quick blog to let you all know...

There are 18 signed and numbered mini-prints still available of the 'All the Single Ghoulies' design and only 7 left of the 'Night on the Town' design.

'All the Single Ghoulies' is the design created especially for the Mo'nique Show on BET and these are the exact same mini prints that will be given to celebs such as Lil' Wayne and Alicia Keys in the gift bags. You can still get one for only $5.

'A Night on the Town' is the design created especially for the 2010 Golden Globe Awards and are the exact same mini prints that will be given to celebs such as Tom Hanks and Jennifer Aniston in their gift bags. Only a few left at $10 a piece!

Each mini print is 5.25"x5.25" and has a shiny metallic finish. I don't plan on re-releasing these prints as I create new designs for each event so once they are gone, you won't be able to get them again.
You can contact me at shannon@lollipoplabs.com to arrange payment if you would like to snag one of these before they are gone forever! (imagine the 'forever' in an echo-y voice!)

Limited edition, signed AND numbered mini prints!

As most of you know, I am sending some mini prints to be put in the gift bags for the celebrity guests who will be appearing on the Mo'nique show on BET. Some of the stars who will be receiving these gifts are Lil' Wayne, Chris Brown and Alicia Keys. (big names, right? I'm so excited!)

Anyways, I ordered extras just in case something happened and I need more. (You know, since I have three dogs, five cats, and two kids--anything can happen!) My prints are all packed away nice and neat and ready to be sent to Atlanta so now I have 49 extra prints.

I thought it would be nice to give all of you nice people out in blog land a chance to have one of these prints. I mean, how cool is it to have the same thing as a celeb, no? I am going to give my friends and fans the chance to own one of these signed and numbered limited edition mini prints for only $5 each (for numbers 2-98; #1 and #99 are $50 each). You can keep it, show it off, give it to your boss, sell it on Ebay, whatever :)

The design I created is a gothic parody of Beyonce's "Single Ladies". Each print is 5.25" by 5.25" square and has a shimmery metallic background. Every print is signed by me and numbered. (99 mini prints in all) They will be sold on a first come, first serve basis and are moving fast so if you would like one, please contact me at shannon@lollipoplabs.com and we can arrange payment via PayPal.

If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a line. Until then, have a wonderful day, night , afternoon, whatever it is wherever you are at!

Happy New Year!

Hello everyone!!!

I made it one of my resolutions to blog every night before bed so here I am, day one of my year long blog-fest!

2009 was filled with amazing accomplishments for me--I participated in my first street fair art show in Hilliard, Ohio, sold some work in my first ever gallery presentation in the Short North, had a brief showing of one of my designs in a short CNN video for Forbes, published my "Lighter Side of Dark" book, and probably most amazing of all, my design was printed on a limited edition tee and given to the celebs at the 2009 American Music Awards--I even got a photo!

Yes, 2009 has been quite a year for me. I'm hoping you all stick around to cheer me on in 2010. For now, I'm off to work on a new image (another resolution is to finish at least one design a week!) See you all tomorrow--sleep well!
